• Ceasar Milan freaks me out – It is like he reaches in the dogs head and makes them do what he wants instantly. It's nsane how good he is. #

• Minneapolis -> Davenport IA -> St. Louis <rest> -> Indy -> St. Louis -> Minneapolis. After 18 hrs of travel in the last 2 days finally Home! #
• Weeds is on sale on amazon & best buy all weekend, problem solved. I will not contribute $ to the retail frenzy that killed a guy last year. #
• Torn between bowing to mammon/anti-consumerism guilt and getting $10 seasons of weeds. Will my black Friday boycott resolve hold? #
• Finished 2nd VLI midterm, now it is over the river and through the woods to Grandma's house I go. #
• My dog has gone pretty nuts. She has started barking at the other dogs and even nipped one pretty good. #
• Helped cook a turkey. Worked with my dog to stop aggressively protecting her bowl while stealing food from other bowls. Now time to eat. #
• Just finished my Synoptic Gospel midterm. Got all the questions right that can be graded right away. Now waiting for grades the essay parts. #
• Just got 8 more wave invites. Give them out to any of my friends IRL or their friends. Wave is gonna replace email IMO, so check it out. #

• The LSU vs. Ole Miss game just proved why stupid people can't play football. That was the dumbest thing I've seen in a long time. #
• This years version of my bluray player costs half as much as mine did last Christmas. Sigh… progress. #
• It is going to be nice when I do not have to cover my arm in duct tape and plastic to take a shower. #
• Dog got out and bolted today. Had to chase her some, now I'm still tired, and that was 2hrs ago. Stupid infection. #
• This is totally weird, but my 5 year-old fat-foot problem is going to be fixed by this infection. My ankle is smaller now than 5 years ago. #
• Chrome OS seems like a great idea for that ever missing MID / true netbook market – that is if the device has always-on internet – like 3g. #
• My dog just ate a compressed rawhide bone in less than an hour. Holy crap it is gonna be expensive to keep her in bones. #
• My dog isn't sure what to do w/ her 1st compressed rawhide bone – so she is licking it like a popsicle. #
• It is funny to watch the dog try to get stuff that is stuck under the coffee table. It is just funny to watch the dog in general. #
• BSG is still fun the second time through. #
• My dog doesn't seem to understand that just because both of us are home, doesn't mean that we can play with her outside. That makes her sad. #
• And now the wife is sick. This is awesome, it is like someone wanted to make sure we couldn't pay our bills for a while. #
• A bold prediction: The Bears to win out and win the superbowl. #
• Doctor said I can do a 1/2 day @ work on Friday and to split my trip to St. Louis in two parts to make it easier. But I'm on the mend! #
• The level of assholery that Donald Draper reaches is indescribably high. The hypocrisy alone could kill a large animal. #
• Why don't pet groomers put their prices online? Do they vary by how rich the person looks when they walk in the door? #
• Feeling good enough to get some decent work done from home, if only I could figure out how to pull part numbers from my couch. #
• Watching my dog play with her treat-toy. She desperately wishes she could fish treats out with her tongue instead of rolling it around. #
• How is it that your first phone call of the day always comes a the most inopportune time? Every day since getting sick this has happened. #

• I've been sprung. Lauren Driving me home right now! #
• Going home this afternoon!!!! Super Excited! Ready for my bed, my couch, my big TV, my bluray player, and my wonderful wife to myself. #
• Just stuck myself with a needle for the first time ever. Quite an interesting experience. #
• Trying to stop feeling sorry for myself and study Luke. #
• Watching the Matrix on TV for the first time in a LONG time. It is still a great movie. Too bad they made crappy sequels. #
• This 24hr w/ no fever requirement for going home is going to be tough I'm afraid. Every time I go to sleep I wake up with a fever. #
• ARGGG!!! They want me to have 24hrs of no fever, and I spiked one at midnight last night. So, Sunday morning now. This is sucking hard. #
• This PICC IV thing is pretty nifty. This round of antibiotics is barely niticable. The salt taste from the saline flush is stronger though. #
• I meant to say a while back that I'm NOT going home today. They want me in for another day then 10 days of home IV antibiotics. YAY! #
• Lots more people I know on Google wave now. Invites going out quickly these days. I have a few for friends I know IRL, ask me if u want one. #
• Got this sweet borg-looking tube hanging out of my arm now – it does all the way to my chest. Not going home till today tho #
• Looking forward to a shower and my own bed. But It's going to be hard to study when I have the 'full' Internet back. #
• They are sending me home tomorrow. White count is down, even if the swelling doesn't go down, means the infection is going away. #
• Good: got my ache-y elbow IV out. Bad: in a few hours they are going to put in a new one cuz they are keeping me at least until tomorrow. #
• Daytime tv has taught me that I don't exercise my dog near enough, that Tom Green wa never funny, and animal attacks are really scary. #
• Trying to sleep in a hospital sucks. Bed is a little uncomfortable, they keep waking you up for vitals and hook you to IVs. Uhgh. #
• Urgent care sent m to ER to see if this is a blood clot or what-not. How does the flu cause blood clots? #
• Just walked past a snuggie & for the 1st time didn't think "that is the dumbest thing ever." Instead thought "warm arms while Internet-ing." #
• The weirdest part of whatever bug this is, is that my left leg hurts like someone gave me bruises from my hip to my fat foot. Hard to walk. #
• Whoever took a crowbar up & down to my left leg, made my stomach and head hurt, and made me sweaty while having chills – not cool dude. #
• Saw a deer walking into the tree line on the north side of the church parking lot. Pretty big with a good rack, just crossing the street. #
• I need a good picture for a blog that is running one of my submissions. Anyone have a good one of me, especially one since I lost weight? #

• Watching an anti-walmart documentary and thinking 'I wish target were better competition for walmart outside of MN." Walmart sucks! #
• Talked to some after churrch and we can now update that stat to 4/4 with one doctor review pending. #
• Went 3 for 3 @ conf in praying for ppl and seeing God heal them. There are 2 more pending doctor review. Excited to pray after church 2day. #
• We bought a bark shock collar for the dog today. I feel like the worst dog owner ever. In my dfense she only barks when we're not home. #
• Home at 5:30, note taped to the front door from our 'sleepy neighbor' telling us about how terrible we r cuz our dog was barking all night. #
• We're past hour four. This is well beyond ridiculous. #
• (2/2) but now were in the ER a quarter of a mile away cuz Lauren is feeling crappy. So that should mess with some ppls theology. #
• (1/2) Had a great tome @ the conference. Prayed for two ppl & they got better – I call that a win. #
• Getting excited about the area conference tonight and tomorrow. Only a little nervous about the workshop I'm helping with. #
• Anandtech (@anandshimpi) is giving away a core i7 system! It would be rocking to win since I haven't had a new desktop in 7 yrs. #
