This passage is about God’s saving grace, and about how legalism is bad. He isn’t knocking the Old testament, but he says that the law was showing us how to live until Gods full grace and love was expressed through Jesus.
Q: What blessing is promised to us as Christians (vs. 14)? Take time now to evaluate your relationship with the person of the Holy Spirit. Are you letting him direct your thoughts, attitudes and actions on a daily basis? Invite him now to provide you with direction and power to extend his blessing to others.
A: I try my hardest to let God direct my thoughts, attitudes and actions, but sometimes I default to stupid. Or I default to being a jerk. Sometimes it is hard to constantly think WWJD when your walking around. I would really like to be operating on the power and guidance of the holy spirit on a regular basis because then I wouldn’t go around screwing things up as much.
Anyway, I have to go to small group now. Bye.
