I have a lot of communities now on my LJ friends page. That means a lot of posts go on and off in a day or two. I can’t decide if I like this or not. 1. It makes it hard to find my friends posts, and 2. It is a lot to read, and subsequently I keep up with very little of it.
But it is interesting to see what is happening in Champaign, the Twin Cities, and in the debate communities I read. I was thinking about dropping one of the debate communities, but the maintainers are just so damned interesting sometimes. Most the rest of the people posting aren’t.
In other news the Illini are freaking phenomenal. I didn’t realize exactly how awesome they were until I went to ESPN.com and read up a little. I mean it is awesome to see my team 19 – 0. I just wish I had them on TV here to watch….or that I got ESPN so I could see at least some of the games.
I thought it would be really cool to try and see them play when they played MN, but unfortunately they only play them once this year and it is at the Assembly Hall. That could have been a cool road trip for the gang to come visit, but alas, it is not my year for such an event.
Well, that is about it…..except poo…..
And, I hereby declare the hooters is never ever off limits for a bachelor party. You can take away our strippers, our beer, or smokes, and our ability to pee in public….but you can’t take away the tight shorts and wings. Therefore…if Dirk says Hooters for the bachelor party….Hooters it is. (this last bit is going to get me in trouble I think)

you can totally divide your friends up into groups ( http://www.livejournal.com/friends ) and then add the group name to the end of your friends page url and only read the entries from the people in the group .
example : http://egli.livejournal.com/friends/703 only shows the entries of people in my 703 group . and you can only access that page because i have made my 703 group public .

Let it be known that I have no problem with you guys going to Hooters. I mean, I’ve heard they have great wings and who am I to deprive Dirk of his wings?? I am not afraid of the Champaign Hooters girls….BRING IT ON!!! 🙂
