My new Samsung LCD HDTV arrived last Thursday, and it is now set up (roughly, I need to get the cables organized in the back) Pictures below:
I also managed to get out and buy a new Wii finally (it only took three stores, ending at a Toys R Us).

And I bought Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Metroid Prime 3, Guitar Hero 3, and pre-ordered Mario Kart.
I also got a points card and directly downloaded the internet browser and Mario Kart 64 (which handles funny relative to the old one…maybe it was my MKDD that is messing up my ‘feel’, but it feels different to me w/ the gamecube controller on the Wii).

Anyway, despite my hatred for all things Smash Brothers, the game looks pretty tight and in general there are a lot of people who aren’t like me, and I need a good party game to compliment / offset Mario Kart when it comes out.
