CRAP!!!!!

Well I spent a lot of time on the phone today. And you may notice I am posting from our new internet connection. The guy came out and installed it 15 minutes after I called him. This is why I like the cable over the DSL….DSL is connected to the phone company. Also, Qwest, which is our phone provider, has wireless service which is pretty cheap, and not only do you get free mobile to mobile, but also get free mobile to home telephone, and instead of just free nights and weekends on the cell, you also get them on your home phone. Nice stuff. I might just go with them since they are GSM (I like GSM over CDMA….means my phone would work in Europe) and I can make any of those I want work on that network. Besides phone and cable, I also switched the electric to our name from the landlords, so now all my utility stuff is done.

Now to the bad. I also spent a lot of time (as did Lauren) on the phone with the insurance company. Apparently our policy did not have full coverage on the ford even though we asked for it. This means no money for the car most likely. This is because some guy told Lauren that the car was covered and she shouldn’t change her policy or some crap like that. We were totally dicked around by this AAA insurance, so I’m going to see if my uncle can pick us up. If not I’m going to shop around. So anyway, that car was a $4700 mistake or something, but you live you learn. It is only money anyway. Well, to enjoy ourselves this evening we went to IKEA. I like IKEA, but you can’t go there without walking shoes. Anyway, we think we found a TV stand we liked, and some other things like a kitchen table. None of them were expensive, but we need to save money for a while until I get a job and we get the last of the wedding money from Laurens parents.

That is all for now. Besides this Sunday there is a more open meeting at Jeff and Q’s place at 6:30 pm. Anyone is welcome who is in the area, and we are getting much more unpacked and it is nice. Soon the job hunt begins.
