A couple of cool websites

Lauren and I are leaving for California tonight. Should be nice to have some quiet time in the plane to read, sleep, pray, and do a little dreaming about some tech things I’ve been cooking up in my head.

In preperation for going out there I was checking out Vineyards to go to, specifically looking for one that has a Saturday service since we are leaving Sunday morning. I asked Jeff about the multi-ethnic Vineyard out that way that he is interested in, and it turns out it is called Vineyard Extreme

After I stopped thinking “Harold and Kumar go to white castle” I was able to stop laughing at their name….but here I’m laughing again in my head…Anyway, their website is pretty decent. I like the graphics and the colors. But I checked out their links page and they have this link to a site I though was worth sharing.

It is called TheOOZE. It sums up a lot of my thinking about approaching media / content from a creator management standpoint instead of the content management standpoint.

I like it. Good thoughts on the future, and an interesting approach to it. Lately I’ve been thinking that part of my place in the Kingdom may be to help push churches to move forward as practive advocates for technology, instead of always being behind the curve, and some of what I’ve read on that site really agrees with what I’m thinking about media.

That is all.
