Books

I’m bored…..I should start getting ready to leave from Tice’s place, but I’m feeling far to lazy for that. Plus I need to ask my youngest brother when he is going back to his college, because I need to stop by on the way home and get his computer all up to snuff. Well, I had a good weekend, we hung out and mostly just watched movies because of the rain and all, but that was cool. And on other matters….since I have like no money at the moment (I’m waiting to take out a loan for this year of school until some paperwork goes through at the financial aid office) I have been buying books for this semester with my credit card…..ahhh the dangers of credit. But I was more then a little annoyed at having to spend so much on books. Most semesters I manage to mooch off of other peoples books that they aren’t selling back. But this semester it is not the case. So I felt the obvious thing to do to cheer myself up, was to spend more money that I don’t really have on some books I do actually want to read. I bought ” Church History In Plain Language Updated 2nd Edition”, ” Chronological and Background Charts of Church History” (I like charts and graphs…I’m an engineer….we like things like that) and finally “Catholic Christianity: A Complete Catechism of Catholic Beliefs Based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church”. I bought the last one because I room with a couple of guys who are Catholic and I have a few other Catholic friends and I’ve been meaning to pick up a copy of the catechism and a reference for the catechism (like a book that describes when stuff happened in the catholic church that caused them to put something in the catechism) so I can better understand where these guys are coming from.

But anyway, that is all I will say for now, cuz I have written entirely too much on this silly blog lately.
