So, I was listening to the planet the other day and I heard a song called “Absolutely Wasted” by a band called Abandon. And I was thinking that this is a pretty funny song. Then I got to thinking about all the funny songs I’ve heard about being drunk or high, and I got to thinking that it would be cool to make a CD and call it “the bad example CD” and I was looking for some ideas. Then I thought tossing some funny songs about sex in there might work too. So I have some sublime on there, like “smoke two joints” and “40 oz’s to freedom” and “caress me down”, and i have the abandon song, and afroman – because I got high, and Denis Leary’s Asshole song (it doesn’t fit the drunk/high/sex theme, but it is a good song about being a bad example), then some NOFX and George Thorogood, and Tom T. Hall – I like beer, and finally Zebrahead – Playmate of the Year.
So, I’m looking for some amusing songs about drinking, being drunk, smoking things, or being stoned or whatever, and maybe some other random songs about being a bad example in one way or another. Please suggest some stuff, so I can make this as amusing as possible.

Aaliyah’s Are you that Somebody is about a girl who has to sneak around and be careful cuz she’s got a baby at home, but still is goibng out with those types of guys.
A more serious one is Brick. All about abortion and stuff.

you should check out pedro the lion . songs about adultery , suicide , murder , and other fun stuff . though he might be a bit mellower than you’re looking for . and he’s more of a story-teller than an advocate of such activities . his cds are like mini stories . it’s cool . and he’s a christian . but not a christian artist . yup . but you should still give him a listen even if he wouldn’t quite fit your theme or what not .

Funny people…this is the key, most of these songs I’ve mentioned amuse me, so mellow, serious, or things that aren’t amusing are out of the questions, but there are some very good suggestions here, so keep them coming, just keep in mind funny/amusing.

Also, I’m more interested in songs about drinking or partying, the sex thing is mainly reserved for the uber-funny stuff, just because there is sooooo much stuff about sex out there. I’ve done some thinking aboug shaggy and that might end up on there, and maybe a couple others, but I’m thinking what songs about drinking and partying are out there that I haven’t heard, more then the sex ones.
